1.0 FTE, Day Shift
This position organizes, coordinates, directs, and evaluates overall functions and program activities as delegated by the Executive Director, Providence ElderPlace Seattle. This position is responsible for comprehensive population management of PACE (Program-of-All-Inclusive-Care for the Elderly) participants including, quality, service, utilization and financial outcomes.
PACE Operations Manager will manage the PACE Center Operations, including adult day program and clinic operations, and supervision of the interdisciplinary team(s) operating at PEPS MLK (Martin Luther King Jr Way S). This position assures that services are rendered in a manner consistent with regulatory requirements for a PACE Center.
As a member of the Providence ElderPlace Seattle Leadership Team, participates in setting strategic direction to meet the needs of a growing organization and implements PSCS initiatives.
In this position you will:
Creates an effective and efficient design and delivery of integrated programs, services, and staffing to accomplish PEPS operational and financial objectives; including leveraging patient care interventions and outcomes to ensure full reimbursement.
Builds a highly motivated team committed to excellence in care of a medically complex, frail senior population. Responsible for leading an effective interdisciplinary team, including geriatricians in individual care delivery and population management.
Manages day-to-day participant programs to include: adult day center and clinic operations. Ensures that the needs of the participants are met and fulfills responsibility for maintaining quality and assurance of standards through sound management practices and effective utilization of resources.
Plans, develops and monitors center and department budgets, performance to utilization targets, productivity and specific program objectives.
Develops, updates, implements, and administrates policies and procedures, within licensure guidelines and established protocols for specific areas of accountability.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree Social Work, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or a health care-related field
Current CPR certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
Food Handler's Permit (or must obtain within 14 days of hire)
Must have automobile, driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
4 years Experience managing services for older adults, particularly elders who require assistance with activities of daily living and have complex and chronic medical needs.
Demonstrated experience in care management, population management and/or evidenced-based clinical care.
Experience with team-building and interpersonal conflict management.
Experience working in a managed care environment.
