Providence is calling a Hair Stylist (0.5 FTE, VDay) to work in Volunteer Services at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington.

This position is responsible for cutting and styling hair for all the residents of MSV. This position is also responsible for maintaining all hairstyling equipment and keeping the work area clean and antiseptic.
In this position you will:
Cuts and styles hair of residents on a weekly basis; Follows established procedures for use of neck strips and capes
Perform manicures and pedicures
Keeps work area clean; sweeps floor; routinely dusts work area; removes garbage and soiled linen.
Disinfects equipment (clippers, brushes, combs and shears) after each use.
Maintains and orders supplies as needed.
Required qualification for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED
Cosmetology license in Washington State.
One (1) year experience as a cosmetologist
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with the elderly.
