Providence is calling Mastectomy Fitter Specialist - Appearance Center (0.5 FTE, Days) to Providence Home Services Oregon in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Mastectomy Fitter Specialist - Appearance Center that will be responsible for: 1) obtaining prescriptions; 2) prosthesis, bra and compression garment fittings; 3) submitting insurance claims to the Business Office; 4) supervising volunteers. The CMF will support the philosophy of the shop(s). This person will be responsible for efficient operation of the Appearance Center while on site.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Offer suggestions for enhancement of the prosthesis service for lumpectomy/mastectomy clients
Offer suggestions for products sold in the Appearance Center
Exhibit sensitivity to the fitting situation
Act as primary fitter when present
Will be responsible for completing all Intake Forms and Daily Balance Sheets when present
Collects tally and deposit revenue. Records transactions on POS program
Required qualifications for this position include:
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
ABC or BOC Certified Mastectomy Fitter required, or equivalent experience and ability to test immediately
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year experience in breast prosthesis, bra and compression garment fitting
Experience with healthcare billing practices for mastectomy and compression garments
