Providence Social Worker LCSW (Part Time) - Palliative Care in Napa, California

Description

This is a part time (24 hours/week) position supporting Palliative Care.

Provides psychosocial assessment and delivery of counseling, social work and emotional support services to terminally-ill patients, and/or palliative services to patients and their families. Works as a team member to identify problems and assist patient/family members in exploring realistic options, decision making and problem solving.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. Graduate from an accredited school preferred. Or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. Graduate from an accredited school preferred.

  • Coursework/Training: Training in family counseling and case management.

  • California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or

  • California Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire.

  • 1 year Experience in a health care setting or related field.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
