Providence Health & Services Director Foundation in Issaquah, Washington
Providence is calling a Director Foundation (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in the Foundation Department at Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, WA.
The Director Foundation and has responsibility of managing activities related to the analysis, planning, organizing, directing, execution, control and evaluation of all fundraising and public relations programs.
The Director works with the Providence Marianwood Foundation board of Directors, Administrator and staff of PMW, local agencies, staff of Providence Health and Services and the Providence Senior and Community Services division to promote fundraising, public relations and communication on behalf of PMW.
The position requires heavy visibility in the community, and a close working relationship with organizations, family members, potential and current donors, funding agencies and the public at large.
This position works with the Executive Director of PMSVF to develop strategy and holds primary responsibility to achieve PMWF annual revenue and operational goals. This position serves as Executive Director of the PMWF board of directors and the related 501c3 of the PMWF.
In this position you will:
Serve as a member of Providence Marianwood's management team, which directs and coordinates facility policies and planning. Plan, direct and implement annual goals, objectives and budget related to PMW and PMWF in collaboration with the Foundation Executive Director of PMSVF seeking consistent service line messaging and strategies as well as optimizing stewardship.
Generate significant financial support to help meet the needs of the institution for charity assistance, program support, capital or special requests within industry standard ratio of expense incurred to revenue achieved.
Administers a comprehensive fundraising program that includes all the major elements such as board relations, donor cultivation and stewardship, legacy donors, planned giving, direct mail, annual giving, special events, grant writing and capital campaigns.
Coordinate, support, and direct foundation board committees, plan and coordinate board meetings in conjunction with Executive Director.
Develop and implement all policies and procedures to carry out development and public relation activities in conjunction with PMW and PMWF.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, public relations, journalism, health care administration or related field
Five (5) years as a development professional with a proven success in all aspects of fundraising and public relations
Two (2) years health care with knowledge and experience in a long term care environment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration
