Providence Patient Care Technician – Cardiac Progressive Care in Fullerton, California
Description
Under general supervision of a RN, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing basic nursing care for patients, including assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing a clean and safe environment. Performs 12 lead EKG under the direction of a RN or Nurse Manager. The Patient Care Technician is responsible for collecting and reporting of information to the supervising RN and completion of all patient care related documentation. Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down: Responsible for the patients in the cardiac care/ telemetry unit.

Required qualifications:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
1 year of Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down:
Acute Care Experience
Preferred qualifications:
1 year of Acute care experience as a CNA
12 Lead EKG Certification upon hire
Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down:
Cardiac Monitoring experience.
