Providence Occupational Therapist - Home Health Snohomish in Everett, Washington

Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist (OT) (Home Health, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to SCS Home Health in Spokane Valley, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • The OT will perform comprehensive assessments to determine specific therapy needs, develop plans of care, coordinate care with other disciplines and provide direct patient care in the implementation of outcome oriented occupational therapy interventions under the physician ordered Plan of Care.

  • All required documentation will be complete, accurate and timely.

  • Promotes and practices patient/family, personal and environmental safety while performing job duties according to agency policies and procedures.

  • Participates in relevant educational activities to provide competent care to patients/caregivers, to improve the rehab process, and to seek personal and professional growth.

  • Displays professionalism in the work environment in all areas including communication with both internal and external customers.

  • Maintains productivity as per agency standard.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy from an institution approved by the state board in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.

  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapist License.

  • Current Washington State driver’s license and have access to daily use of an insured reliable vehicle or an alternate ability to travel to sites as required.

  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

  • Proof of current Auto Insurance.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year Therapy experience with adult physical disabilities.
