Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Services, the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the daily direction and supervision of the administrative and clinical affairs of the Departments of Diagnostic Imaging. Performs these duties in collaboration with the Imaging Director, Medical Director of the area, and Modality Leads/Supervisors and assures the provision of high quality, clinically competent, customer-oriented service. Serves as the liaison between the area of responsibility, contract physicians, SJHS-HC administration, the medical staff at large, nursing, and other departments.
3 years Experience in an acute care facility as a radiographer.
2 years Health care management/supervisory experience.
National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Or
National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Or
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit Or
California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Coursework/Training - Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
Coursework/Training - Advanced degree.
